Store Policies

Shipping & Delivery

  • All orders are shipped with delivery confirmation and/or tracking numbers.  
  • Once an order ships, tracking is expressly the customer’s responsibility; we are not responsible for the status of the package while in transit. Once the package leaves our warehouse, it is the carrier’s liability for tracking and delivery time.
  • All orders are shipped within 1-3 business days unless otherwise noted. We will contact you if there is a shipping delay.
  • For Domestic Express orders, please note that USPS requires 1 processing day after we deliver the package to the post office.
  • To calculate the shipping cost, please add the product to the shopping cart and choose your exact location and shipping method.
  • Shipping fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
  • INTERNATIONAL ORDERSThe customer is responsible for any additional import duties and taxes that may apply based on the country's laws and regulations. Please check with your local postal service for details.

Returns & Replacements

  • Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • To create a return or request a replacement, send an email to info@formaldept.com with your order number and a description of the situation.
  • All returned merchandise must be in its original un-used condition for a refund or exchange. Merchandise that has been used or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  • All returns are subject to evaluation by Formal Dept. A restocking fee may be charged based on the condition of the item(s).
  • All refunds will be applied to the original form of payment, excluding shipping costs and credit card fees, within 5 business days from the date of receipt of the returned item.
  • If your item is in new and un-used condition, you may exchange your item for a different color or product. If additional costs apply, you will be contacted for payment details, as we do not retain credit card information from our customers.
  • We will not assume responsibility for lost, stolen, or mishandled packages. As such, we recommend that you use a traceable shipping method when sending any items back to us.
  • We will not accept returns or exchanges on sale items. 
    ALL SALE PURCHASES ARE FINAL.
